Job Title: Barista
Location: Parramatta, NSW
Pay Rate: $30 – $35 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barista to join our team in Parramatta. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for coffee, at least 3 years of hands-on barista experience, and the technical know-how to consistently deliver exceptional coffee.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based coffee, teas, and specialty drinks
• Adjust and calibrate coffee grinders to ensure consistent quality and flavour profiles
• Operate coffee machines and grinders with precision and care
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized workspace, including equipment and customer areas
• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service, taking orders and handling payments
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and inventory management
• Comply with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years proven barista experience in a busy café or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation methods and grinder calibration
• Ability to consistently produce high-quality espresso and milk texturing (latte art is a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure during peak times
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
• Team-oriented, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude
